Edisto festival

Not a bad time would like to see it grow a little more with some
More vendors. But not sure where they would fit them.

I had a great time, the Sea Cruze Band is great, go see them if you get a chance. There was a good crowd through out the day until the band stopped at 10PM. I went early, checked the venders out, bought a pint of Pressley’s shrimp dip, came home and watched the Gamecocks win, went back at five and danced until it was over. Got up the next morning, launched my boat aroung nine, fished until two, came home and cleaned fish, made bait balls and installed lights on the boat, and arrived at St Helena Sound around 6:30. There was more wind than I expected, not one boat in site and high outgoing tide (kinda spooky when when you’re by yourself). I asked myself if I was going to enjoy this and the answer was no so I headed back to Live Oak landing and a good nights sleep. Now I have to decide if I’m going fishing or shrimping this morning, decisions/decisions.

Sounds like you had a well planed day. I watched most of the Carolina game and Georgia ? LSU on the flat screen in the crafts building while the wife was tugging on my arm LOL. But it was really a nice time looking forward to next year , hopefully we will have our house finished by then.

Where are you building? The reason I ask, there’s a new house being built near us on the corner of Jungle Rd & Portia.

I wish that was us I have been watching that house go up we are building on the left side of 174 up by The state park. But I am still just as excited as if I was on the front beach, A year ago we would have never dreamed of being over there full time. Look forward to meeting all you guys when we get over there. We hope to start around the first of the year so keeping fingers crossed right now we live in Moncks Corner so it will be a big change.

We had a great time as well. Our first Shrimp Festival. Initial cruise through the crafts building (I noticed the game on but kept walking) then on to the other vendors. Delicious boiled shrimp with a cold beverage on the dock wishing we were on our boat. Came back later in the evening to listen to the music. A great time. We are looking to more events as we are finally in our house.

I’m like the new guy on other thread, can’t wait to learn to fish, shrimp and enjoy all that EB has to offer.

I didn’t go but I did have one heck of a time backing in at the marina. You would have thought I had a free beer sign hanging on the outboard. Everyone wanted to walk behind my boat and stop.

Wicked, I still need to catch you once so we can do some fishing. It’s getting to be my favorite time to hit the reefs.

Yes. That was me. We went out for about 2.5 hrs and caught a few shrimp. It was a nice night to be out on the water.
