Guys,

Thinking of a bottom fishing tournament, would like some ideas from everyone. I’m thinking something along the lines of:

3-6 people per boat, entry fee would be per person

Maybe seperate Calcuttas on Black Sea Bass, Reds, Grouper, etc…

Trophies for 1 & 2, with 1st paying 80% or so…

We could make it an “Open” tournament to try and encourage people to join, maybe just charge them more to enter???

An open tournament costing $25 per person to enter with 10 boats averaging 5 per boat…you’re looking at a $1000.00 payout, not including seperate calcuttas, which would be paid to the boat. The boat figures how they split it up.

Give me some ideas please…our next meeting is Feb. 21 and I would like to have it ironed out before that.

Alright, I’ve seen 6 people read this…come on, somebody has to have something to say. This is Edisto remember!!

Buck , I am not a Edistonian but know several down that way and if you are willing to take outsiders in I bet I could get at least 3 if not 4 teams to go in on such an idea, boat teams I mean. I am kind of leaning toward EF though with maybe April be better with Wx.

A lot of people have said they would probably do it if it was open, so I think it may happen…I’ll let you know though, thanks.

Caleb and I are in but would have to tag along with someone with a bigger boat.
