There will be an organizational meeting 3:00pm August 9, 2008 at the Lions club on Myrtle street, Edisto Beach. If you are interested in being a member. Then come on by. We are going to have this meeting to see if there is enough interest in forming a club. There will be some food and drink. If you have any questions e-mail me through this site.
Luckily, I am at Edisto now at my house for the week, and I will try to be there for the meeting. I think it’s a great idea. I’d love to meet more people down here and have a chance to hook up to go fishing with others.

Weve needed another fishing club down here since the Edisto Sports Fishing Assoc disbanded. I was pretty young when it was still going but it was always a good time. Ive even got some of the old tourney shirts at the house.
I was just down at our house this past week. I would be very interested in participating. Just keep me posted.

I’ve called a lot of people, who hopefully will be there Saturday. Flounder, Hush puppies and tater salad is on the menu, washed down with some cold refreshing Bud Light.

The meeting was a hit. We had twenty two people in attendance and as of now about fourteen more interested. I will e-mail out a summary of Saturdays meeting when it is available. Also a committee was established to get this club going and they will meet tonight at Bucks pizza.
