Wicked fishing
I didn’t go. Seemed like the radar was showing something every couple of hours. I didn’t want to get caught in some lightning. The kids did catch 30 good sized crabs. We ate them with some corn from Kings tonight for dinner.
I was messing around the creek by the house with the cast net and the shrimp are getting big. Most 3-4" brownies.

Give me a day or two and I will report. Just arrived for the week!! Not happy about all the fresh water though. My boys got 9 nice crabs, now cleaned boiled and ready for picking :). How is your best lady doing?

I put in at edisto marina Saturday and fished with no luck. How are the flounder biting and any suggestions on another landing for good inshore fishing or just a scenic ride?
Doing much better Optiker, appreciate the concern. Hopefully in a couple weeks she will be back to her normal self again. I see you are down for the week good luck on the fish

Glad to hear! No fishing yet. Weather sucks so far. Did some projects around the house. Beach was simply dangerous yesterday. Very windy and large surf. At least most had the sense to not go in very far.

Went today in the North Edisto and ended up with 6 reds (all slot), 2 flounder (1 keeper- 4 lbs.), 7 trout- 3 keepers. Dodged rain all day. Fishing is VERY tough right now. All on mud minnows
We fished N Edisto on Monday and had a tough time. I dot know if its all the fresh water or what but we couldn’t find a fish in spots that are normally very productive. May try again tomorrow.
Went out early this am. Saw a tail on my favorite flat and had a topwater fish on momentarily. Second spot had lots of activity. I had about 7 strikes but could not get a hookset. Might have been lady fish I don’t know. Got chased away by a storm. Got soaked at the landing. Shouldn’t have taken the last 2 casts I guess :). Was off he water at 8am
