Ken most folks like to use a double drop rig with small hooks and fresh shrimp 2-4oz lead. Least amount of weight that will hold to bottom. With this generally you can catch whiting, blues, rays, sharks, blk drum, reds most anything available. Work this set up out front not casting to far. Then get a couple of larger poles and cut up your whiting or blues and deploy chunks on a carolina rigs with #5 owner hooks, 4-5 oz lead, 50ld mono liter. These rigs are set out a little deeper targeting reds. Then your covered up close and a little deeper as well. For sure read up on local laws and bring your fishing license. Try to avoid people, moms and dads not to keen on cut bait in the water next to their children. I don’t know if shark fishing is legal off the beach there, check into it. If it is and that is something that interests you “do it at night”. Beef up, use steel leaders and do research regarding rigs, they will bite through mono easily. Beaches will be busy go early or late to avoid crowds. A head lamp goes a long way fishing at night. Regarding where, do a little scouting at low tide. See if you can find any troughs, sand bars, pot holes, drop offs, rocks, points, anything out of the norm. This improves your chances greatly over just fishing a flat beach with no structure. Target these areas as the tide rolls in. Review Rich Trox videos reading the beach before heading out, very useful. Good luck and if things go well send us some pics, if they don’t babes in bikinis will work as well:smiley:

Thank you so much. Great information.
Thank you again…Ken
Fish the 3200 block and/or the state park. Both will produce well.
Ya know, it must be nice living in Neverneverland. Remind me to come visit you, when I need a break from reality.
