Too windy for the big water, so we settled for inshore on the North Edisto River side of Edisto Island! The whiting bite continues to be very strong with squid on the bottom 10’-20’. The black drum and red drum bite was better today than on recent inshore trips with fresh shrimp on the bottom around structure and live oysters. Tide was slow and clear on the incoming which made the bite much better for the reds!

Did I see your boat parked on The Hill(behind the mattress hammock). Just saw a boat that was way too nice for that place and thought it Looked like yours

Yes sir! That was me! Needed a place for a night and my good friend Foster Gadsen hooked me up! He bought my old boat last year and runs about 40 crab traps! Great guy!
