Do you know if the escaped monkey’s from yesterday in Yemassee have anything to do woth the Island Monkeys?
Monkeys that escaped are from the Yamessee Lab…. I was told the monkeys escaped when unloading at the lab….but that’s second hand info……
I should have been a little more descriptive, the monkeys were originally trapped on the island and transported to the lab. They escaped from the lab in Yamassee when a lab worker forgot to close the gate after feeding. There were 50 young females in the cage and 47 of them escaped. I last heard there were 18 remaining that have yet to be captured.
I’ve heard that all of the remaining, escaped, Monkey’s are back in the lab.
They lured them in with peanut and jelly sammiches…
Please tell me that’s not an exaggeration… 
Seems to be some confusion over whether they’re all captured, but pb&j has been their demise…
