Half day trip with Pastor Trevor, Pastor Nick and their wives. Awesome fellowship and weather. We started at the North Edisto Neareshore reef where the bite was slow with squid and cut bait on the bottom. After drifting the structure, we anchored on some concrete rubble, but the bite was still slow. Mostly short black bass and black drum. No keepers. The crew still had fun. The girls out fished the guys and won the bet. Water temp was 64 degrees. Fished a few inshore spots on the way in with the same results. DNR checked us on the way in and were very polite. I laughed when they asked if we had any fish in the box.
