Outgoing bite inshore was slow, but incoming bite was fair to good. Red and black drum on the bottom around structure with shrimp. Wind was brutal this morning. We fished my small craft advisory hole.

You fishing my spot again! Good pictures.
LOL! There no such thing as a secret spot on Edisto Island, SC. That’s a place I’ve been fishing for 45 years. I started at five years old fishing the island with my Grandaddy. We call that spot Gator Cut. I haven’t fished it in years, but when the wind is blowing 35 knots it’s a great place. Thanks to google map these spots are no secret. Sheephead, black drum and red drum. Edisto offers some awesome inshore/nearshore fishing for all anglers. I do love my job chartering and seeing kids catch fish. These spots can be productive if the water is clear. I have seen a lot of change over the years. The fishing can be great at times then it can also be challenging, so if they’re not biting in one honey hole you can move to another. There are plenty of great spots on the island and that’s what makes it a special place.
