Edisto Palmetto Charters, LLC 7/24/18

Afternoon inshore trip on the North Edisto River side of Edisto Island, SC produced a good whiting and puppy red drum bite. Lots of bait in the creeks. Finger mullet and cut mullet was fished on the bottom around live oyster beds. Stingrays were a problem in a few locations, but the bite was mostly good for the incoming tide.

Being on the water is a blessing, catching fish is a bonus!

Need to measure those fish!

All puppy drum were safely released. Monthly DNR reports require specific info on released fish dead or alive, but measuring undersize fish that are released alive is not on the list. Big smile. It was her first red drum!
