Edisto State Park

hey y’all. I’ve come up short trying to find information on parking at the park. I was put on hold for 15min before I gave up, so I figured I would ask here and see if anybody can offer helpful information.

I am staying with some friends in their camper in June 2016. I want to bring my boat to do just a little bit of fishing, here and there, during that week, but I can’t find any information on boat parking within the state park website.

You can park a boat with the friends camping, and park your vehicle in the visitor parking lot

Try to get a spot in the beach area, woods are thick with gnats.

A spoiled rotten BOYKIN SPANIEL lives with me

Ain’t no gnats on Edisto!

Flying teeth!!!

When you see “Old Glory” waving in the breeze, know that it is the dying breaths of our fallen hero’s that makes it wave.

It has always amazed me how such a small bug can bite the way they do.

Olde Man Charters

I was told years ago to cut a hole in your shorts to keep them out of your face, never tried tho! Yellowjackets are about as bad! specualy heading shrimp

If you are staying at the site with registered campers you get them to get you a visitors pass for the same site and park it all there. If not enough room then - You are correct on the parking in the field as I remember it. You can make room for the boat to stay if crowded.
