Neat video, have seen them many times in the South Edisto swimming but never jumping!
I’ve seen them jumping in the May River, usually in the spring during the cobia run. I hit one once also. I was running on plane and this thing jumped right in front of me and hit my bow rail. I would estimate its length at about 3 ft. This occurred well up in the May River.

Biggest sturgeon I ever caught was in the Edisto river it was a 420 lb female full of roe, caught in 10" gill net near Jacksonboro circa 1980 three years before the fishery was close in 1984.
