Will be in Edisto tomorrow until Saturday and since I’m not able to bring the boat down I am planning on doing a little surf fishing and may do a little shark fishing as well. What are the rules about fishing at night and what are your suggestions on how to fish the beach?

Not sure about fishing at night. I recall that they are very particular when it comes to turtles and having lights on the beach. Maybe that was just during nesting season.
There is little variation on the beachfront. I would suggest moving down to where the coast bends. I believe beach access 28 had some larger jetties and deeper holes. Fresh shrimp and fresh cut bait (should find mullet, pinfish, etc in creeks on island).
