Three boats fished the tournament under windy (20 mph) conditions and three limits were weighed and released.
1st Place Roger Burris and Butch Prichard 8.8 lbs
2nd Place Curtis Foster and Bob Sanders 7.6 lbs
3rd Place Caleb and Ron Davis 6.4 lbs
Fish were caught on Mirror Lures, Trout Tricks, and DOAs under Cajun Thunder corks.

Congratulations to Butch and Roger for a great catch on a really tough day. Although our numbers were low this time, we are excited about the potential to start a trout fishing tournament circuit where there will be 4 tournaments plus a masters event next year starting in May. The tournaments will rotate between 4 differnt landings (TBA later), and will have an entry less than this previous event to see if we can get the numbers up. Any comments are appreciated. Coming from a bass fishing background, I feel the competitive opportunities for inshore fishermen are limited, and if done right, a trout circuit could work and be very enjoyable to those who like to compete.
