EFC - Redfish Tournament - Nov 27, 2009

Folks,

This is a short notice, but we can make this happen and stll have fun.

The “World Famous” EFC will be hosting an open redfish tournament on Nov. 27, 2009. This is next Friday! While all the women are out slamming people in the retail stores, the guys can relax under the sun somewhere in the beautiful ACE Basin.

This will be an open tournament, so members and non-members can enter the contest. Ron, being the club champion so far, has agreed to fish using “hand lines” to even the odds.

The rules are:

You may enter prior to the tournament, by contacting Darrin Moore 803-622-7009, or you can enter Friday morning at the marina. Cut off time for entry is 8:00am, after that if you find me on the water…I’ll still take your money.

Entry Fee: $25.00 per person (limit 3 people on the boat)

Weigh-In at the Edisto Marina at 2:00pm

We are fishing for a legal Redfish with the most spots.

Side Calcutta’s:

$15.00 - Largest legal Redfish
$10.00 - Largest legal Trout

Fishing area is the Southeastern United States.
You can use live bait or artificals…you can even use crickets if you want.

All fish, boats and fishermen must be legal in SC.

If you’re scared, say you’re scared! If you can make, let me know…

Oh, I almost forgot…

Payout!!

Payout for the tournament 80%

Payout for the Calcutta’s 100%

Darrin, I got 3 for the tournament. Will give you a call.

bump…

So who won and what was the weight?

Political Correctness: A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end!

We ended up with a tie! Mike Flagg’s team and Team Kipper, both tied. Unbelieveable I know, but only in Edisto…
