Doesn’t Sakkerliner, in their one appearance, hold the record point spread loss in all championship games? Seems like I read that somewhere or watched it happen, something like that.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.“Life’s tough…It’s even tougher if you’re stupid” John Wayne

Nah, I don’t pull for a conference, I pull for Auburn and Clemson and just watch the rest. Really could care less when anyone else wins or loses, just like to watch good games. Well, except for Sakkerliner, it’s sort of fun to see the meltdown and panties getting in a wad on here.
I’ll watch the game Monday night but, I won’t really have any vested interest in who wins and won’t really care who does. Football is cyclical, one conference dominates for a time, then another one catches up and passes it only to be replaced by another down the road. At least that has been the model for most of the CFB history. The introduction of the playoff is going to level and moderate the playing field over the foreseeable future. Doubtful one conference dominates over a decade, maybe a few repeats but not all that often. When it goes to 8 teams, it will be even better.

Just sayin’- every time Alabama won the NC game, my Facebook blew up with South Carolina fans saying how proud they were of the SEC.
I honestly don’t recall if any Clemson fans did that last year, because most of them I know hate FSU.

so, based on this logic, SC is a litte beta in the ocean, right? You know how those littel betas are: they think they are all that but usually get flushed down the toilet.

How ****ty is a conference really if they win the NC game that particular year? If a team from said ****ty conference beats the best team from your conference, does that make your conference a ****tier conference that year? Hmmmmm…
A conference is more that 1 team.
So there was FSU and all the “other” teams?
How would USC do in the ACC and how would Clemson do in the SEC?
“Apathy is the Glove into Which Evil Slips It’s Hand”.
I’ve said it before, over the last three years Clemson would be very average in the SEC, just like SC was this year…actually they’d probably be better than SC this year.
Now if Watson stays healthy next year and the defense is 80% of what they were in 2014, I believe Clemson could compete well with most in the SEC.
This year, I think SC would lose three games in the ACC.

Last I recalled the sec went 0-4 against the Acc in games that mattered.

Notre Dame is an independent in football officially, though they now have limited ACC affiliation starting this past season.

I agree, if USC played Clemsons schedule. I say that because just “playing in the ACC” does not mean you play the same schedule. FSU and CU are the top 2 teams but in the same division.
Also agree on Watson, that kid is that good. But the defense loses 9 out of 11 starters and 13 of top 15 defensive players. Common sense tells me there will be a drop off next year. Every team has a rebuilding year ever few years.
I just hope this year was a rebuilding year for USC

GT was four touchdowns better than Clemson this year.
And I think 2015 will be a rebuilding year for SC with higher aspirations for 2016.

Wait, didn’t Notre Dame beat LSU in the bowl game this year? Any coot can tell you that you can’t live in the past. Oh wait, that was last year, now you can live in the past.
