ESPN's Top 10 Future CFB Stars....

What do you know…Deshaun Watson comes in at #1.

http://insider.espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/11192394/deshaun-watson-top-10-future-college-football-stars-college-football

And if you are bored and want to watch his HS highights…here you go. Unbelievable film. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8eKE94co0Y#t=283

And yes fish I think he can translate the game and his calm, cool demeanor to the college level.

As I have said before, Dabo and company can recruit very well. Top ten classes, year after year. But can Dabo and company translate them to the CFB level???

Clemson will win the national title this year…

Clemson has finished top 15 3 years in a row…beat Auburn, LSU, Ohio State & UGA in those years. 28 draft picks since he has been HC. There is zero question he is translating that talent to the CFB level.

You might be surprised to know Clemson has only finished recruiting in the top 10 one time during Dabo’s tenure, and that was in 2011. The rest have been top 20s with a few top 15s.

The recruiting I don’t stay up with, but it is suggestive as pre-season polls.

I do find humor in the fact that you point out your big wins…none are ACC wins. But I guess when you beat high school teams, a win over a real team matters for ever.

Fish, what do you consider the cocks four biggest wins in the last two years to be?

Yes, when you beat 75% of the SEC teams you play, it matters. Its a great measuring stick when you don’t play those teams everyday. Goes to show we could hang in the SEC, no problem.

And recruiting is surprisingly not that suggestive. yes, there are some 5* that don’t pan out, and some 2* that go first round in the NFL, but in the end the top 20 recruiting teams usually end up in the top 20 of the season ending pools.

I don’t remember exactly but I believe FSU and VT were top 10 when we beat them in 2012. So, there is that for the ACC.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

What about that ass raping in the Orange Bowl by West Va or the one by FSU where Death Valley was a ghost town by halftime? If Morris leaves he'll be exposed. Beating OSU isn't saying much

so If you played an SEC schedule and only won 75%, you would have 6 conference wins out of 8.
If you have to play 8 SEC teams instead of the high school teams, the wear and tear takes it toll, you might loose another. So you have 3 in the L column.

Or you could just beat up on the Acc, except for FSU for now, and finish in the top ten year after year.

ah yes, playing vandy, Kentucky, Arkansas, UCF, UNC, Costal Carolina and Miss State must have been brutal on the cocks last year. lol.

You guys have not had to play the best SEC teams the past few years. If you did, you would be at 75% as well.

So you pick 7 of the 13 game for your argument…nice

But those really really tough games against sc state, citadel, WF, UVA , NC state, UNC, UM, and Syracuse games really took it toll on your team…
How many teams, that finished in the top 25, did Clemson play? How many did they beat?

I never said they games took a toll on our team. You implied that the SEC has been such a grind it takes a toll and I think that’s BS. Especially when USC has had a relatively easy schedule from an SEC perceptive.

Those are all grown dudes out there who it hard regardless of what conference they are playing in.

Yeah, I should have added Tenn in there who sucked last year, and probably Wisconsin. They lost 4 games in the big 10 which is barely better than the ACC.

I’m thinking Vanderbilt would have beaten Clemson the last 2 years. They are no longer a joke. BUT Dabo would still swear they would beat them 8 out of 10 times

Sorry missed this one.
USC has beat 6 top 25 teams in the last 2 years. 3 in each.
Last missou and Wisconsin
2012. Uga and Clemson

Do you consider those four SC’s biggest wins?

For the previous 2 years, yes
