Raddaddy, Dan Warren(Edisto Marina Harbor Master), and I took advantage of the minus one foot low tide to do some scouting yesterday. But first, we stopped on a flat to sight cast to reds with Gulp Shrimp and same tipped with mud minnows. It didn’t seem to matter. They were all spooky(five schools of different size fish), so long casts worked best.
We all caught a couple and off to almost Beaufort to scout. It is amazing how much you can learn on these extreme low tides, and how easy it is to run aground. I always get braver in a new area after the tide starts coming back in!

On another note this 33 acre tract is located about 12 miles below Swansea, SC , at $1700 per acre, is as fine a small hunting tract as you will find. Once a pasture, so no stumps (awesome dove field potential), the tract is grown up with an incredible amount of persimmon trees. Power is on the property.
