That’s what I thought. Probably cheaper anyway. I’m planning on taking my kayak into the marsh and going up and either setting a trap for them or cast netting some if there are a bunch on the ground.

1 hour from haddrells to Edisto. the eaisest way to get fiddlers down here is to dig a trap like youre talking about. Back when I was a kid my grandfather had one of the last houses on the creek and i use to burry a bucket in the sand along the marsh line between the last two docks on big bay.
Yeah I don’t go anywhere near charleston on the way to the beach so I’d rather just catch them. Cheaper all around.

I heard that Flowers Seafood, near Steamboat Landing, sold crabs for bait. Does anyone know if this is correct and if so what kind of crabs they sell?
I am failry certin that Frankie doenst sell flddlers. If he does this is something very new

Flowers has plenty of blue crabs. They’ll even give you some of their dead/near dead ones if you want them.
Just trying to learn every bit I can about saltwater fishing…
