I finally made it back to Edisto for some shrimping and fishing after not having been since the end of September. Went shrimping Monday night (10/28) and did not catch a shrimp during the last two hours of daylight but at dark they turned on. Ended with better than a half cooler of nice large shrimp. I was on the flat between Rock creek and Morgan River and left with shrimp still on the poles. I was by myself and had all my 65 year old shoulder could take. It was a beautiful dark night on the sound with no wind and not another boat in site. Fished on Tuesday after a late start due to shrimping and heading the night before and only managed to catch 6 or so trout 12-15". Wednesday fishing yielded 6 spotails 22-26" and about 6 in the 14-15" range, also one black drum. It was a fun three days on the water and hope to have many more during the next two months.
