what are they good for???
i have found a supply of live finger mullet, but haven’t heard of anyone catching anything on them. they seem to be pretty hardy baits, so maybe try offshore bottom fishing as an alternative to menhaden?

I hope you are trying to be funny!!!
no seriously… everyone uses mud minnows and crabs and everything else under the sun, but never heard of using live mullet.
ex) i caught butterfish and tried them… could not get a bite
Big reds and flounder. Hold on cause they’ll yank the rod out of your hands!
Champion 202 Bass and Bay
I don’t see why they wouldn’t work for bottom fishing.
Are you in town?
will be in town thurs to saturday next week working on the boat, then taking the admiral on vacation.
i was thinking they would be nice bait when the flounder start schooling at the wrecks. sure saves time, not having to leave late to cast net bait on the way out.
Trout, bass, flounder and anything that swims at a reef or wreck…finger mullet are one of the best baits you can use.
