First Cobia of '13

Went cobia fishing in the Broad this weekend for the first time this season. Had no trouble finding greenies on Friday but the day only yielded a few pesky sharks and one heck of a sun burn. Went back out again on Saturday and was lucky enough to catch some pogeys right off the dock prior to cast off. Caught one nice 40 lb female and then proceeded to cook it up for dinner. Looking forward to the next!

(Tried to attach photos but I can’t seem to figure it out…any suggestions?)

Create a photobucket, upload the picture to there, then paste the IMG code here…

And congrats on the fish!

Good for you on the Cobia!

Just curious how you cooked and how well you liked it?

Or you can save the picture to your computer, click on the paper clip under the text box where it says insert an image file, click browse, find the file and click on the picture. The photobucket thing isnt necessary anymore.

Ok thanks, I’ll give it a whirl. DoubleN: we made cobia piccata and it was excellent. Panko, olive oil, butter, lemon juice, and capers.
