Went to Sullivan’s island on Wednesday. Dead high tide . Very first cast I caught this 22 1/2 inch red fish. I’ve fished for this one for 3 years to the day almost and it felt great to bring him in. I. Definitely hooked now if there was ever a doubt. Caught on squid strips . Caught 3 small whiting also and a blue fish and a ray.

Hey i saw you fishing this day just down from me. The older guy and his wife behind me saw you reel that in when they went walki ng the beach. They told me you were out on a sandbar and was using squid strips. I was out that day but the bluefish dominated my bait couldnt keep anything out on a hook for the past week now as well. Nice fish been fishing there hoping to catch one like that. At least this assures me they are there!
