I’m a few weeks late in posting this but had some luck in a shallow creek near Bay Point recently. The location’s only accessible via kayak or by foot but was well worth the effort. My buddy and I caught 6 flounders–kept 4 and released 2, but lost several more in addition to a big spot-tail. All caught on artificials–DOA shrimp and jerk baits. Made for some tasty flounder piccata later that evening. Can’t wait to catch some more! [pictures inserted below]
By the way, has anybody been able to find any shrimp in/near the Broad River or PR Sound lately?
