Sunday: Wife & I fished the falling tide in the North Edisto and got skunked.
Monday: We fished the falling tide in the South Edisto and only managed five or six small trout 12-14".
Tuesday: I fished the rising tide in the North Edisto and caught five spot-tails, two in the upper 20s and the rest 14-16", also a few small black drum, and no trout.
Wednesday: I fished the rising tide in the south and caught four spot-tails (14-17"), one 15" trout, and several small black drum.
Water was really muddy Sunday but started clearing up by Wednesday but not the clear green usually seen this time of year. The trout bite was non-existent for us. We fished live shrimp under a cork and paddle tail grubs. I wish I had stayed home and put up Christmas lights and cut wood for cooking the Christmas pig.
