Fishing and sail boa washed up on n folly

Hit the beach around 9am to 12. Caught 3 whiting and had many missed bites. Also a sail boat washed up on the beach the whole time with no one coming to get it out.

Also i used my 10ft tsunami sapphire 3-6oz rod. Im going to be buying these rods from now on instead of the longitudes. Flexible in the tip and stiff enough to throw my baits out far.

I used the gemini sinkers today and they work amazing. Hold in sand without coming out untill i need it too.

Made my shark rigs with 275lb cable 250lb mono and 10/0 demon perfect circles.

Ive also switched all my reels over to the live liner style of reels. Makes it way easier and hopefully miss less fish.

Are those pieces of the pink fish bites on the Sabiki hooks? Never tried the fish bites, and never tried a Sabiki in the surf like that. Might be fun on a 7’ spinning rod to just catch some whiting. I don’t surf fish much, but I’ll have to try it. If it works good my 4 year old grandson will have a blast.

Did you look inside the boat? Anything in it? Just wondering if the Coast Guard should get a call?

Yes i actually have pink green and orange fishbites on the sabkiki rigs. I use size 6 eagle claw lazer sharp bait rigs. Use a 3oz pyramid. This time of year last year i was catching 20 plus a day.

I didnt look inside but there were some other people looking inside later on after i got there. I didnt see anyone trying to salvage the boat at all.

I heard the owner of the boat was out there with it Friday afternoon, he was apparently very worried about the situation and hoping the bigger tides over the weekend would allow him to get it out of there. haven’t heard about it since then though.

Stevo, that’s the same rig I use, just with shrimp. I swear by it

Ya know, it must be nice living in Neverneverland. Remind me to come visit you, when I need a break from reality.

Steve, I have been using the Gemini sinkers for about a year from 3 to 6 oz and you cant beat them. If one leg was ti break the sinker will still hold with 3. Plus you can get rebuld kits for the heads for about 10 bucks a dozen. I was wondering, where did you order yours that you didnt pay to ship? The only place i could find in the US is in Louisiana I think.
Im going to try some this year with bait release clips attaches and see how they work.

Ebay i caught a deal and got them for 20$ shipped for 10 3oz. Now i think they are 30$ for 10 3oz. Still a good deal for what you get. The order i placed was delayed cause he said his 2 workers quit on him and he took some listings off. He should still have the 3oz listings up.

Sounds like the same guy at Seabrook Fishing.
