Larry had a bad day. His truck ended up in Store Creek off of Peter’s Point Road. I do not know the story because I was too busy scuba diving to find it and hook up the roll-back’s cable. Got lucky and caught the tide at high. The truck was laying upside down in 20 feet of water. I could not see anything. I had to feel around and hook it up. It took a while for the wrecker to get it out, but was successful. Sad story, but my biggest catch in Store Creek.
Lots of people were taking photos. Maybe I can get one posted.

What??? A truck in the creek in 20 feet of water???
Just trying to learn every bit I can about saltwater fishing…
I take it that Larry is ok. I think i am going to have to make a trip up to mains market and give him some hell.

Hey! When I asked about what I could catch in Store Creek no one mentioned trucks!
Did anyone see the explorer sitting in the water about 1/2 mile past the the big bridge. This was on Sunday…
I left Sunday afternoon, but did not see an Explorer in the water.

That sharp bend in the road just past the bridge with no shoulders and creek on both sides right in the curve…its a wonder there isnt a car in there once a week at least! I dont know how those 40’ motor homes and travel tailers at about 20 feet high go through there daily and not waste it occasionally.
The last time I came through there I had a furniture store truck right on my ass all the way down 174 coming from the beach. A “Sofa Super Store” truck no doubt!
I came through that curve a little faster than I wanted in a pickup just to stay a few feet ahead of him. You know that crazy sob didnt back off a bit…dropped his right rear off the pavement and had the huge box truck sideways and kicking up dirt. He still didnt slow down! Rode my ass all the way to Toogoodoo Rd. and he turned right…you know that crazy bastard still beat me to the light in Holloywood while taking that winding road in that big truck. Probably the same crazy ass that flicked the butt into the trash dumpster…or Kyle Busch one!
