Wednesday-Got off to a bad start while preparing to fuel up the boat I was adding stabilizer and the felt cardboard seal in the top of container lid fell into the filler tube. Ended up having to remove the rubber hose between the filler cap and the fuel tank to get it out, about an hour job for me. Fished the North Edisto and started off casting a deep hole for bait, one cast yielded about eight dozen shrimp, enough for all three days. I spent way too much time trying to get a school of spot-tail to bite in the community hole and only caught one around 16". Moved into a smaller creek and caught around 15 trout average size was 12-15". Largest was 17", invited it and a 16" to dinner.
Thursday- Fishing the South Edisto area yielded two spot-tail 22" and 23", also about 25 trout most were short 10-13".
Friday- in South Edisto 16 spot-tail most 14-17" and the biggest 21", 1 trout, and 1 black drum.
The spot-tail were caught on live shrimp under a cork and most of the trout were on a paddle tail jig (silver mullet & electric chicken). Very enjoyable three days on the water with great weather and very few other fishing boats.
