FishingWithBob (Capt Bob Sanders) has relocated his inshore charter service from Destin, Fl to Edisto and will be running trips for 1 to 2 people starting June 6. Bob has adapted the techniques he developed on the Bassmaster and FLW Pro tournament trails to fishing for trout. A trip with Capt Bob is guaranteed to give you a quality fishing experience.

What are your rates?
Just trout are will you target redfish also?
baycreek, $400 4 hour trip Either one. We catch a good many reds on topwater and jigs while fishing for the trout. But, as you probably know, you have to target one or the other. Are you talking sight fishing for the reds on moon tide marshes, or flats, or in creeks? I really enjoy blind casting for them with power baits (crankbaits, etc) in the right areas.
edisto-fisher I am moving to our Marsh Point condo in the morning. The farm,in Barnwell, will become my second home for a while. (Until deer season, when I plan to do a little trophy buck and doe harvesting guiding).
If you fish with Bob just remember you’ll be fishin’ on the ugliest boat out of Edisto. That ■■■■ thing looks like a bumblebee!

Bob… Glad to see you finally pulled the trigger and started guiding. For those of you that don’t know, Bob is one of the best atificial bait quides I’ve had the pleasure to fish with. If you truly enjoy finesse fishing he’s your man!
Are you sure he doen’t use live bait?![]()

Nice looking website Bob. I have been going to and fishing on Edisto for almost 30 years but I must admit I don’t know alot about the fishing strategy. I am always interested in learning more. My buddy and I are about to sell our first boat (a center console) to buy a new pontoon as we really don’t go off shore but do bounce between the lakes and inshore. We figure the wives will let us out more often if they can come with and actually comfortably enjoy themselves. What type of boat do you charter? I would be really interested in meeting up for a day and seeing what you have to teach. Prices? What time do you leave? Do you prefer artificials (artificial bait is my weak point)?

hookandcook, $400 for four hour trip. I have a 20’ Javelin with 225 Yamaha and 36 volt 109 # thrust Motorguide trolling motor. GLoomis rods and Shimano reels. We would start out early AM with topwater then add the jigs (look in the mouth of 9 year old Daniel’s trout from this morning). I fish (or rather you will) very aggressively and move around quiet a bit. For you to accomplish what you are looking for, I would recommend you and a buddy. I do take up to three people.

Sounds great. I am sure I can find somebody to tag along. Is it 400 per person or per trip? Unless I was down for a short stay (probably will be in late July as my family stays at Quantico the third week of July every year and has for 30 years; or I am thinking about taking a long weekend closer to August) I live in Aiken and have been known to pack up drive down fish two tides and then drive back. Nice fish, great to see a young angler with a fish like that in his hand. I will definitely be meeting up with you this summer sometime. Is it best to wait until it cools off. I have been down at times and been told by locals that the water was to hot to catch anything and it has been 100 everyday here in Aiken lately.
hookandcook $400 per trip. We catch 'em all year. We just adjust depth we’re fishing in.
Thanks, Bob
