Able to fish Friday and Saturady two boats caught maybe 70 had to release 20-30% due to size all caught on a bait with mud minnow attached cleaned several over 22" most over 18" threw back anything less than 16"
biggest 24" all caught inshore.Edisto Flounder Bite is on.
I gotta get some Intel from you. I will be down all next week and would love to catch them. I have to figure how to catch flounder, because I got the reds and trout figured out already. If you don’t mind, send me a pm, it will be much appreciated!!

I need to own up did catch the fish but the location was Cape Charles, Va. trying to figure out why they have such great Flounder fishing and we only catch them while fishing for Red Fish or trout, and not in such great numbers going to work on this over the next several weeks and will post any good results or failures.

Caught quite a few this weekend at Edisto around Store creek fishing big mud minners in deep ho;es at 1/2 tide! A lot of small ones but some gooduns and a lot of sting rays and gars.
You must be fishing ugly ducks holes. Be careful, you’ll get ran over in some of those bends.

I saw a bunch of those gars and rays back at the flats way back in big bay and fishing creek.
I actually just ordered a fishing crossbow To blast some rays for shark bait. It should be fun.

Crossbow should be fun! Never seen ugly duck in my holes, Was in my skiff and not runnig well so stayed close!
I caught flounder numbers like that one year at sunset beach nc. Was gonna come to edisto and do the same. Not. A local guy I met on the beach one day said its too much fresh water coming in around lower sc. Dunno myself why but I sure wish I could catch them again like that.

Ps. The biggest flounder I have ever seen came from the inlet right north of framptons. Almost covered a 48 qt cooler. We used to walk there from framptons
