Posted this on another forum, thought I would pass it on to Edisto.
Seagar Invisex is a pure flurocarbon and I promise you it is worth the money. Like Greg Hackney told me almost two years ago when he sent me a spool of 8#, “You’ll be boat flipping 3# fish”. You can tie a Palomar knot (the strongest),on fluro, which you shouldn’t tie on under 10# on other lines, it’s the same light refraction as water (as in invisble), most abrasion resistant line (except for wire), has very little memory (don’t change line near as much which makes up for price), sinks faster…and on and on. While I don’t spool it on client reels (so many break offs, so I use Ande Backcountry 8#), it’s on the two spinning reels I use when I’m scouting or just pleasure fishing. Why have a connection between braid and a fluro leader, when you can have just fluro. And braid is the least abrasion resistant line. Bob

PS Whacked the Redbreast @ Wayfar Farm this PM. All the hens (released) I caught were bulging with eggs, unusually late. All the males, grease released!
