I’m going to try surf fishing IOP and I have questions on the fly side. Any thoughts on what bait fish are there to imitate? How stained is water? I was thinking shrimp patterns to start with and have some salt water streamer patterns with weighted beaded eyes. And thoughts here? Thanks in advance!
Talk to the guys in Lowcountry Fly Shop. I was in there with a friend and the guy working was giving advice about fly fishing in surf to a customer. They also gave my friend some good tips for wading the flats.
