just finishing up the last needlefish tonight and get them out tomm i hope. im not too happy with the epoxy heads on these needlefish but im trying to get them to shape better. I need some tuffleye! shrimp pattern is done

I’m leaving town tomorrow afternoon, but hope to have everyone’s by the time I return on Monday. The flies will go out as soon I receive everyone’s, or by Wednesday at the absolute latest.

so back to the origin of this thread. are we each going to start a new thread with our recipe or do we just add it here. i would like some ■■■■■■■■ on mine good or bad.
i also volunteer to manage the next one. maybe a st paddys target date. maybe i can figure out the cajun croaker green by then. looks like it takes about six weeks to turn one of these over. so that would be pushing it. or maybe an april fools fly. did anybody see that all endangered species materials fly that was up a couple years back for april 1?
lemme know and i will crank the thread. we might get a couple extra if the thread topic says “swap”.

We’re almost there! JMB said his are going in the mail today, so they should be here when I get back on Monday. If so, they’ll all be packed up and in the mail by Tuesday.

JMB says his went in the mail late Saturday, so I thought I should receive them on Monday or yesterday. I have not gotten them yet, so I will check my mail when I get home and pack up what I've received.

Okay, I just checked my mail and still don’t have jmb’s flies. :roll_eyes: I have packed up the flies I have and will be mailing them out tomorrow.

I’m sorry for the delay, but I wanted to wait since jmb told me that he had put them in the mail Saturday. I’m not going to make y’all wait any longer - they’ll be mailed out tomorrow, so you can expect to receive them on Friday or Saturday.

this is one of my logics for a running swap. we can just roll em over to the next one. if they dont come by the time you ship we can do that. i still volunteer to run the next set, i guess. you could send the whole lot with yours if youre in. if everybody is overtaxed let me know otherwise i will start a new swap thread next week.
