We’re getting into primo tailing season, and we all have that one fly that we tie on when the tails start waving. I’ve got a sinfully simple fly that has been hammered both times it has been dropped in front of a tailer and am more than happy to crank some out for a swap.
I’m fine with organizing - who’s in?
Oh, and Mike said that spoon flies aren’t welcome.
I can tie up some stuff if you want, how about a few merkins?
Far better it is to dare mighty things to win glorious triumphs even though checkered with failure, than to take ranks with those poor spirits who never enjoy much nor suffer much because they live in the grey twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.
Spoons are all I know how to tie and all I can fish. What can I say, Mad Mike tought me all I know.

I’m in! Somebody organize it and I will start tying.
tell me how many and where to send them.

Love to give it a go. I’ve tied a few freshwater flies in the past. Shoot me some recipes. I live in the upstate and have fished once for reds on the fly, loved it & want to do more. (Need an experienced hand to point the way though).
yeah… lets get something straight. Spoons aren’t tied their manufactured… and I don’t fish them… (just messin’ fish and tie whatever you want…)
I would love to jump in, but with my island trip coming up tomorrow and everything else on my plate I doubt if i would have time to tie… but you boys have fun!

I have a shrimp imitation that doesn’t have a name yet or a small fingerling mullet pattern. Either one I am in.

I haven’t started tying yet… what is the date to have 'em ready? Next STAFF meeting? Aug 3 is the next 1st Monday of the month, depending on tides of course that gives us plenty of time to tie 'em up. We still at 9?
