Folly 1/13/17

Came down to Charleston for the weekend to run a race. I went to Folly Friday to throw a line in. Dropped by Crosby’s and picked up some fresh shrimp. Was actually very surprised at the shrimp. They still had all their colors. Usually the shrimp you buys aren’t that fresh. Folly road had construction as soon as I pulled out of the parking lot and it took me another hour to get to the lighthouse. (I probably could have walked quicker). Point being is I showed up late for the tide. As soon as I got there someone was in my usual spot so I moved to the main river. I immediately caught whiting. For about an hour and a half it was nonstop. I lost a lot due to the ridge on the main channel cutting me off. Ended up with about 18 whiting, a stingray, and a very small bass in about three hours of fishing. Seventy degrees and sunny though so catching things was a just a plus.

Wow, that’s a little bass! Ha! The weather’s been awesome so just being out there can be enjoyable. Thanks for sharing your photos.
