Fished the top of the rising, high and high falling. Started on an area with a rip that had a nice reveres washout after each wave but no action(15minutes). Then fished the rocks and the bite was hot the water was so com and clear it was the best conditions for fishing the rocks I have ever had. I could see the rocks and space in between and maneuvered my bait through all the cracks. I fished the rocks that were submerged completely and the water depth varied from 2 1/2 to 4 ft, abotu 3 ft was the most productive. I was standing right next to the rocks with my tip right over them and using 8ft pan-fish fly rod with a micro light spinning reel pulling them up like bream. Used a Carolina rig with a 1/4oz weight and tiny owner live bait hook on about 10 inches of 20 lb flouro and tiny chunks of shrimp. Caught several pompano, reds, and pen fish and the occasional whiting, 3 of the pompano where around a lb and the rest where small, the bass where 14-16, and all whiting where under 10 inches. Surprisingly I caught no trout or croaker as that is all I have been catching this year. My first reds came in august this year and I’ve been fishing probably 20 times this year all surf fishing though except once at my big bass spot but had no luck.
Sounds like a fun little spot to fish. Take some fiddlers with you next time too. I bet that spot will hold some sheepshead.

Same method but use live small shrimp. Thank me later
1639 is the address number of the beach access and I was lazy and got fresh frozen shrimp from Crosby’s.
