Hit FB surf the night of the 24th, fishing the bottom on a 4 oz with 50lb leader, 4/0 circle hook with crosby’s shrimp. The bite started late, after 11pm. Pulled in 2 speckled trout. Both were keepers, but let the first go. Then around 12 pulled in about a 3’ sharp nose. I was really surprised to do that well in the surf. I’ll definitely be doing more night fishing - the beach is our front yard for this summer.
