Nothing much happened on the North end but aome gulliea by the pier and toward the park look a little more defined.
The bait was right in the surf and pelicans were diving into the waves. It seemed super fishy though windy and rainy. It wasnt that rough looking either any of thw wind blown points should be good.
The big reds are due to show at any time so get ready. My goal is to get a 45incher on the sand this season.
Thanks for the report. When you mentioned the park, we you referring to the county park on the south end of the island ?
Thanks
Jack Taylor
I should of trusted my own uneducated guess of wear the hurricane was NOT going to go. My shop shut down Wed. afternoon…hindsight…should have fished Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning.
Had I known early enough the shop was shutting down, would have planned a trip to Jekyll. Seems the big Reds are already moving out down there.
Is the pier open. Might throw some mullet in the morning.

As of right now, no. Not sue about tomorrow. Supposed to be windy 15-25 south.
Ya know, it must be nice living in Neverneverland. Remind me to come visit you, when I need a break from reality.
The park is the other end, the county park end.
Fish the North end for that 45. I’m going to try and get my broke neck out there and snag my 50 incher this year.
