Went to folly yesterday and fished at crosbys where I have had some luck before but got shut out. Moved to folly pier and caught 3 croaker between 4-6 inches and also one whiting in the 8-10 range all on shrimp. Was also fishing with mud minnows but 0 bites on the minnows. I did see a lady cleaning a Spanish mackerel caught from the end of the pier it was probably 20-25 inch range. I’m not sure how big is big for those things but this one looked decent and she said it was caught on a live croaker on top of the water. I’m going to try the surf tomorrow morning probably IOP im just not digging folly I mean I like it down there and the people are great but the fishing action is questionable and I don’t do the shark thing
Anyone heading out Monday morning? Where are you going to fish?
