I finally get to contribute!

Caught this gator on a live mullet right after dead low tide. No gully, haven’t found a good one lately. The mullet were running in the surf and I caught a couple in the cast net. Look for them to get thick soon. Caught a big stingray on frozen shrimp before I started getting mullet.

I love using live mullet bc they are dead giveaways when a fish is near. If you feel them start to rattle your line, hang on for the bite. Something was tapping another mullet and I set the hook and it cleanly cut my 30lb braid. It’s swimming around with a 2oz weight and 40lb leader in his toothy mouth.

My two kids were with me and helped me as much as they could. My son reeled this one in a bit and wants to do the next one too. I’m usually too busy chasing them around to catch a fish. Didn’t matter today, they were biting.

Nice fish! I know what you are talking about, the bait starts to get panicky, dead giveaway that some predator is near.

Pretty fish !
Take it from an old man with 4 girls. Take that little one fishing often and she’ll be your fishing buddy when you get old.

Great looking trout, nice work! The look of the people over your shoulder is comical as well.

Nice catch this will make me more tempting to go out on the surf this weekends…
