we caught this Wednesday night. 99.9 percent sure its a sandbar. caught on cut Bonita. Sorry for the blurry picture. Tail rope is still on Shark because we are very quick with our release Landed, Picture, Back in water all under 2 mins.
Nice. Did you kayak the baits out or cast from the beach

Casted from the beach. 12 ft ugly stick surf rod with a Penn 8500 ss spinning reel 30lb line
Nice! Bet that was fun. I will have to get into some shark fishing from the surf this summer

Not trying to be annoying but the title says sharp nose lol… anyway, really nice catch. I have a weekend trip to Folly planned in a few weeks and were going to be doing a ton of fishing, so I am definitely excited. Going to be paddling some baits out on the new penn spinfisher 10500.
Always have to find something to criticize. haha. It was auto correct.
Nice catch. Definetly a sandbar. Gotta love catching those on light tackle.

nice there seem to be a lot of sandbars in the area. Almost positive i hooked one the other day and it broke me off. I’ve fought plenty of sandbars before and it was fighting like one. Their fun to catch and regularly bite during the day also. And no need to kayak baits out for them, they come right up close to the beach.
also where did you get the bonita from?
I’m pretty sure Haddrell’s point has Bonita now.
Did you catch at low or high tide?
Low tide. Bonita at Hadrells.
