Folly lighthouse fishing post storm

First time ive made the walk down the cement road and over the hill in some time but because of the wind this was the choice spot. The walk there wasnt bad windy overcast and cool but the walk back was a sunny windless burner. I fished about 2 hrs total. First cast was 3 finger mullet on 1 hook and after about 20 minutes max my rod bent over. I pick it up and start reeling and it takes off into the current and makes a nice run and slows down i apply some more drag to pump it in and it makes a second stronger run and is way out in the inlet. I work it in and its a nice sandbar. Next cast is threadfin and finger mullet that i let soak for about 20 minutes until i caught a large mullet to throw out live. The large mullet soaked for like an hrish with no takers. I threw the castnet for about 20 minutes and caught 3 threadfin a large mullet about 8 hog chokers 3 flounder a jumbo shrimp 2 spot and a perch. There were a few scattered menhadden that avoided my net. The net i was throwing has half inch holes so small bait gets out. I also threw a gotcha for about 20 minutes with no action but disnt realy expect any.

I’ve been enjoying your reports, 40. Sounds like you’re getting more fishing in than most of us. Keep it up and thanks for letting us know how you’re doing!

Great report

Nice shark

Glad to see someone getting out there.

Ya know, it must be nice living in Neverneverland. Remind me to come visit you, when I need a break from reality.
