Went to the north end of Folly with the youngen. There didn’t seem to be the amount of bait in the water as there was last week. It took me countless throws to get two mullet and a handful of shad. I did sabiki what I think was a pompano but he escaped before I could take the knife to him. No decent fish but a great day for the boy and I. We went to home team and feasted on ribs while watching the Clemson game. Perfect ending to the day…
I went out yesterday and the water was so dirty and couldn’t see any baitfish to net. I only caught a few bluefish that day as well in 7 hours of fishing. Guy down the way was cast netting some monster size mullet.
We were out there today from about 8-3. Water was dirty. Had one good hook up on what I think was a Red, but he ran out and across the rocks and lost him. Caught a bunch of bluefish, small Whiting and a decent black drum. Still not a bad day.

Jack the one I caught the other day tried running me into those rocks as well. I locked down my drag and prayed my hook not to bend straight. Just curious were you fishing the left side or right side of those rocks.
We were fishing on the right side of the rocks and that sea wall. I had my cousins down from Greenville fishing with me. One of them hooked it. By the time he tried to tighten down the drag it was too late. Hopefully I can get back out there soon and get one. Hope you do too.
