High winds and muddy water has meant for decent drum fishing, have hooked into few bull reds and few slots but later last night hooked into these 3. Yes that is a 17" whiting. Apparently largest caught on pier for year ha. I can for sure say I have never seen one that big ever before.

All on live shrimp. The whiting is .2 oz below leading the Trident >.<
