Went yesterday mid to late afternoon and got a couple bites but little to no action whatsoever. Never fished it before yesterday, so I am curious about what fish are hotter during the colder months. Heard you can catch black drum but was curious about what kind of setup to use.
Really just keep your bait on the bottom, maybe scale down your hooks some. I would use fresh shrimp. No need to get way out on the end of pier, fish off the south (right) side. There is usually a decent trough. Black drum usually turn on 1-2 hours before low tide, the bite usually lasts until low.

Appreciate the response. Will keep the tides in mind as well. Dead Low was around 1:30 yesterday and fished the incoming tide. Hopefully will get back out there soon enough
