The Pier is open just walked it today. The very end is still closed.

I forgot to add. I did ask around an everyone agreed the fishing was slow today. I did see a mid size shark and a skate caught but I think you can always catch those. A group that are regulars at the folly pier said they haven’t caught anything. Maybe it’s the wind

Folly pier and Pitt Street are the coolest places to be this time of year, fishing or not.

I went to folly pier Sunday. It was windy and a bit cool and no fish.

I might soak a shrimp and cut mullet in the surf on the east end of Folly before dinner tonight. Let you know if I get anything (not expecting much though).

Didn’t get out on the sand. Actually went to play paintball for the first time and had a blast.
I have a feeling the water temp hasn’t changed much and the surf might still be pretty slow.I’m getting too many time consuming hobbies (fishing, golf, paintball, kiteboarding lessons)! But, beats the hell out of freezing my newts off in Chicago!
Oh yeh, I forgot I gotta find time for work and the family somewhere as well.
