Figured give a decent report for past month and 1st week of July. Alot more faces are showing up at Folly Pier with the great fishing returning to that of years past. The noted species in surf have been quality black drum, sheepshead, pompano and trout. The black drum have have had pretty good size while the other 3 I cannot truely say the same. Most sheepshead in 2-3lb range and trout mostly sub 20inch.
Further out the spanish mackerel and tarpon bites have been quite hot. Many spanish in 3-5lb range have been landed on daily basis with good weather. On evening high tides we are seeing multiple tarpon hook-ups with most fish being in 80-100lb range. Also, seeing some rarer LARGE Jack cravelle in 15-30lb range, including a new pier record this past week of near 32lbs. Here are some pictures. Tight lines everyone!

The silver king…king! We may not have a big pool of surf/pier guys but no doubt some excellent fisherman. Phenomenal report, congrats Fishing Duo. Thank you.
