Hello everybody, below are the details on the Folly Pier re-opening…
-Thursday, May 14th at 4pm the City of Folly checkpoint is lifted for good
-Friday, May 15th the Folly Pier reopens with limited hours of 8am-Sunset daily
-Parking, Fishing, Restrooms, & Beach Showers will be open
-Gift/Tackle shop to remain closed
-Pier 101 restaurant will have outdoor dining but no bar or indoor seating.
-Beach is open for lounging but cannot be in groups of more than three unless it is immediate family
We do not have an estimate yet on when the gift/tackle shop can re-open so be sure to bring your own food, drinks, and bait. In addition, we will have staff to on hand to keep the restroom lines orderly to follow social distancing. Last but not least, all of this could change at any moment so make sure to check the news and our website at CharlestonCountyParks.com. I will also try to update on here as things change.
