Folly pier tarpon

2 hrs and 10 blocks up beach later…

Thats one HUGE herring!

No matter how many variables I have control over, I never expect a bite. I only hope.

That’s Awesome!

That is an amazing catch of a great fish. You should be proud.

Beautiful fish.Congrats

WooHoo, Did Randy catch it? About the size of the one I hooked into Sat.

Ya know, it must be nice living in Neverneverland. Remind me to come visit you, when I need a break from reality.

Incredible job Mr. Duo, congratulations!:smiley::smiley::smiley::smiley:

It’s not me lol. I posted report for the angler Randy Robbins.

Now that’s a fishing story! Great job, one that the grandkids will be hearing about one day for sure.

Great catch, What bait did it hit on?

Live bluefish

Was it hooked on the pier?..rod passed down to the beach…then ten blocks?! Thats bein’ quick on your feet and kind of a badass!

Awesome man! Nice catch! We hooked into 1 last year around the County Park but it broke off on the oyster beds. Amazing catch! Should be proud of that Silver King!

Well it hit his live bluefish and ran down the beach, this is best can hope for when hook tarpon from pier. Ran down pier with rod fighting fish, tossed rod down to other angler standing on beach then proceeded chase tarpon 10 blocks towards washout lol. The video was live on facebook but I have been unable get it since the tourist sent everything to a wrong number apparently. This makes 3 landed this past 5 from pier if I am correct. On shore winds and full moon, can not ask for better conditions for them

very cool

Way to go - nice catch and pic!!

Do you know if he was targeting tarpon, or did it hit a king rig or something? That guy needs to go buy a lottery ticket!
