Hit the pier yesterday. Was a bit cool and overcast, not sure if it was due to the wind. Which wasnt horrible or the sudden drop in water temp over the last couple of days, but not a single red caught all day. Only decent hook up was a 3ft atlantic sharp nose. A few smaller fish and skates here and there but nothing to speak of. If anyone has any ideas or tips, I might try again some time this week.
Yes. Heard they already headed south and Mary Lee is hanging with them. Went Thursday for 3 hours and landed a skate. No sign of the reds. I was soaking cut mullet and blue crab.
I don’t fish Folly much these days but my spot kicks one out every now and then. From this past Sat. 11/9.
I wouldn’t say gone, maybe a bit more scarce. I picked up a 27" at the East end by the last jetty on Sunday morning. Then, on the same day but later tide, my coworker and his friend landed a 23 and 25" near the 6th block public access off of West Ashley.

Agreed, they are definitely not gone yet. I went around 4 yesterday near 9th street on the South side of Folly. Not a very popular spot (which is why I fish there, although there are probably much better spots down at the park). I pulled out one 18-inch red and one 14-inch over the course of an hour, they’re still out there.
